At Subtropic, we are committed to providing you with all the essential information to ensure you select the right product. Every item is made to order, and our sizes are based on standard sizing unless otherwise specified in the product description.
How to Choose the Right Size.
Before purchasing, please read the detailed size guide graph located on each product listing. If you are ordering from outside the UK, don't forget to check our international size conversion guide to ensure a perfect fit.

Finding the perfect fit for your festival outfit is key to both comfort and style! Use our size guide to ensure your look is just right.
HOW TO MEASURE:
- Bust – Measure around the fullest part of your chest while keeping the tape level.
- Waist – Measure around your natural waistline, typically the narrowest part of your torso.
- Hips – Measure around the fullest part of your hips, ensuring the tape is level.

Tracked 48: 2-3 working days

Europe
Standard: 5 working days
Express: Up to 3 working days
International
Standard: 5-7 working days

These timings are estimated and can vary. Once an item is shipped, it is no longer within our control, and delivery times may vary due to delays in the postal system. For guaranteed delivery dates within the UK, we recommend choosing Royal Mail Next Day Guaranteed, which is the only service that guarantees timely delivery or they refund the postage.
Please note: if international we are not liable for customs clearance fees in your country and holding times of packages by customs in your country.
Made-to-Order Items & Shipping Information
At Subtropic, every item is made to order especially for you, crafted in-house with care. The manufacturing time is specified during checkout and may vary depending on the item. After production, your order will be shipped using your preferred delivery service.
Production Time vs. Shipping Time
Please note, the production time (e.g., 10 working days) is separate from the shipping time, you can find the up to date production time on the top banner of the website. For example, if it takes 10 working days to make your order, and you choose first-class postage, the shipping will take an additional 1-2 working days on top of the production time.
Returns & Exchanges
Made-to-Order Policy
We are dedicated to ensuring complete customer satisfaction with every purchase. We take great care in crafting each product to the highest standards, but we understand that online shopping can sometimes be tricky. We’re here to help you get the perfect fit for your needs.
Since every item is made to order just for you, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or returns unless an item is faulty or incorrectly made. To ensure you select the correct size, please refer to our size guide before placing your order. If you’re unsure about your size, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at courtney@subtropic.shop—we’ll be happy to assist you.
Exchanges
If you receive an item that is the wrong size for you and you need to exchange, simply email us, and we will gladly send you a new size. Please note, you will be responsible for covering the postage costs to return the original item to us, as well as the shipping for the replacement item.
Faulty Items
In the case of a faulty item, we are committed to making it right and will offer a repair or replacement.
